Rain, snow, sleet, or sub-zero temperatures, the market bustles with life.  There is no need to buy any more than a small packet of nuts poured into a packet made from the page of some old book, or newspaper. The market people will be glad to banter with you whether you are there to buy or simply stroll past the colorful stalls.  If you touch them with your sincerity, they will even smile warmly into your camera. There is nothing more festive or Russian than the market.
